I had a 50% off coupon from ACMoore, so while Hubby was out getting some shelf paper at Target, I decided to stop by the nearby craft store and see what I could dig up. It's been awhile since I've done any scrapbooking, and the entire reason I stopped was because it was way too expensive for me.
However, after watching all of your amazing YouTube videos and reading some great blog posts, I realized I was doing it all wrong. I should have been buying it all on sale! And being more resourceful with craft supplies I already had!
In any event, the 50% off coupon was burning a hole in my pocket, and I had every intention of buying a paper stack or some kind of themed pack to start creating a cute mini-album of our wedding. I have some free prints from Shutterfly I'd like to put together, and I thought this would be a great project to get me back into scrapping.
That was when I found the Martha Stewart punches. I have been literally dying over her doily edge punch since I saw it on her show a long time ago. Personally, I feel it's ridiculous to pay $15 or more for a punch. Enter the coupon. So... I kind of splurged.
I also got a ton of stuff for fairly decent prices. In comparison to what I've seen at Joann's and Michael's, I wasn't too impressed with ACMoore. They had a decent sale on some single paper sheets, but nothing worth buying. I'm not sure I'll buy individual sheets again - it seems like you save more money buying the whole stack.
